Travel Itinerary

Day 01- Arrival at Guwahati- transfer to Shillong (100Km 03 Hours journey Approx.)

Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway station, meet our representative and transfer to Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya state. Enroot we visit to Umiam Lake, it is a reservoir built in Umiam river.

Dinner at hotel and overnight stay in Shillong

Day 02- Full day Shillong Local sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for full day local sightseeing, visit to places like Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Don Bosco Museum (center for indigenous culture), Elephant waterfalls, Shillong viewpoint and Laitkor peak which offers a stunning panoramic views of Shillong city.

Day 03- Shillong- Dawki Umngot river- Mawlynnong

This morning after having breakfast at the hotel, we check out our hotel and head towards Bangladesh border. We visit to Dawki this place is located on India-Bangladesh border famous for a scenic suspension bridge on Umngot river, and water in this river is crystal clear we have a chance to do boating.

Later we visit to Mawlynnong village, it is declared as Asia’s cleanest village by the travel magazine in the year 2003 and India’s cleanest village in the year of 2005 for its sustainable and cleanliness practices.

Overnight stay at hotel in Mawlynnong (Dinner will be on direct payment basis)

Day 04- Mawlynnong- Cherrapunjee (100Km- 04 Hours journey)

This morning after breakfast we check out our hotel and head towards Cherrapunjee the wettest place on earth, though the name wettest place on earth now takeover by Mawsynram is also located on Meghalaya but Cherrapunjee is still second wettest place on Earth.

The word Cherrapunjee means a land of oranges, which is famous for its beautiful waterfalls and living root bridges

Arrive at Cherrapunjee and check in hotel

Overnight stay at hotel in Cherrapunjee (Dinner will be on direct payment basis)

Day 05- Cherrapunjee Local sightseeing

Today we visit to famous attractions like Umshiang double decker root bridge, Nohkalikai waterfalls, Seven sister waterfalls, Mawsamai caves among others

Overnight stay at the hotel in Cherrapunjee (Dinner will be on direct payment basis)

Day 06- Cherrapunjee- Guwahati drop

Morning breakfast at the hotel and check out. Later transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway station for return journey
