Detailed Tour Itinerary:

 

Day 1: Arrive at Chandigarh- transfer to Shimla (120 km 2hr journey Approx.)

On arrival at Chandigarh Airport/ Railway station our representative will meet you and transfer to Shimla.

On the way visit Pinjore Garden. Pinjore Gardens is located in Pinjore, Panchkula district in the Indian state of Haryana. It is an example of the Mughal Gardens style, and was built by Patiala Dynasty Rulers Timber Trail The Breath taking experience of timber trail cable car ride can’t be explained in words.

Day 2: Shimla- Kufri Excursion

Today morning after having a delicious Breakfast at hotel we proceed excursion to Kufri, Situated near the Himalayan range, Kufri is a picturesque hill station situated 20 km from Shimla. Founded in 1819 by the British, Himalayan Nature park, Kufri Fun Campus Hip Hip Hurray adventure parks are among the attractions we cover.

 

After lunch sightseeing of various places in and around Shimla, Until the British arrived; there was nothing in Shimla but a sleepy forest glade unknown as “Shyamala”. Then Scottish civil servant named Charles Kennedy built a summer home in Shimla in 1822 and nothing was ever the same again. By 1864 Shimla had developed into the official summer capital of the Raj. From where British bureaucrats ruled over a quarter of the world, every summer until the 193, the entire government of India fled here from the sweltering heat of the plains.

 

We visit, mosques built in (1830), Viceregal Lodge built in (1885), Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre- the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1877). Evening we return to the hotel and rest of the day is leisure.

Day 3: Shimla- Kullu-Manali (250km 7hr journey Approx.)

Today morning after having breakfast check out hotel and head for Manali, On the way visit, Rewalsar Lake hidden in the hills 24km southwest of Mandi, the sacred lake of Rewalsar is revered by Buddhists, Hindus and Sikhs. Pandho Dam, Hangoi Mata temple. On the way visit Vaishno temple which is a Small Cave and Shrine with an image of Goddess Vaishno Devi. Other temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva, Rama And Krishna, later visit Kullu Shawl Factory.

 

On This day you can also take enjoy of Water Rafting At Babeli Kullu. On arrival check in hotel

 Day 4:  Manali

Manali with the super views of Dhauladhar and Pir panjal ranges, and with mountain adventures beckoning from all directions, Manali is a year- round magnet for tourists. Backpackers come to hang out in the hippy villages around the main town; adventure tourists come here for trekking, paragliding, rafting and skiing; and Indian honeymoon couples or families come for cool mountain air and their first taste of snow on day trip to RohtangLa.

 

After breakfast sightseeing of places in and around Manali, Like Hadimba temple also known as Dhungri temple, this ancient wood and stone mandir was erected in1553.Manu Maharshi temple at old Manali. Vashist Bath- Hot water springs, Van Vihar, Tibetan Monastery and Club House. Evening spent time at Mall road renown for shopping.

Day 5: Manali-Rohtang Pass/Solang Valley

Morning after getting fresh get ready as soon as possible to depart for Rohtang Pass.

Rohtang Pass (Tourist spot in Himalaya having snow all 12 months) is the most visited tourist spot. Rohtang Pass Situated At An Altitude Of 3979 Mt. (12,892 ft.)Above sea level and 51km far from Manali, The Mighty Rohtang Pass- The gateway to Lahaul-Spiti Valley and Ladakh

 

Whenever Rohtang Pass is closed due to bad weather conditions & NGT permission, people will be allowed to visit up to Solang Valley which is a picturesque setting; this has good ski slopes end picnic spots. It has the Glacier closest to Manali.

 

Today you can do adventure sports most commonly offered are Snow Scooter, Skiing, Parachuting, Paragliding And Zorbing at Solang Valley And Rohtang Pass. Evening drive back to hotel

Day 6: Manali-Kullu- Dharamshala (280Km 10hr journey Approx.)

Morning after having breakfast we drive towards another beautiful place Dharamshala, it is best known as the home of the Dalai Lama. Check-in hotel after arrive.

Day 7: Dharamshala- Mc Leod Ganj (Tibetan government in Exile)– Dalhousie

Mc Leod Ganj; when the travellers talk of heading up to Dharmshala (to see Dalai Lama), this is where they mean. Around 4km north of Dharmshala town Mc Leod Ganj is the headquarters of the Tibetan government in exile and the residence of his holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

 

We visit Tsuglagkhang Complex comprising Kalachakra Temple, Namgyal Gompa, Tibet Museum. Secretariat of the Tibetan government in exile, Library of Tibetan works& Archives, cultural Museum, Nechung Gompa and Tibetan Medical college& Astrological Institute.

 

Later we drive towards Dalhousie; a plunging pine- clad valleys and distant mountain views, Dalhousie is another of those cool hill retreats left behind by the British.

Day 8: Dalhousie- Excursion to Khajjiar

Morning after having a delicious breakfast we head towards “Khajjiar”  is India’s so called ‘mini Switzerland’ this grassy bowl- shaped meadow is 22km east from Dalhousie, which offers tourists a unique combination of forests, lakes and pastures. Khajjiar is also known for its nine-hole golf-course which is nestled in the midst of lush greenery and a breath-taking landscape.

 

Khajjiar is a small plateau which also has a small lake which is one of the most favoured tourist spots. The lake is surrounded by green meadows and dense forests. There are some beautiful temples here, and this region also attracts adventure seekers, number of options in adventure sports like paragliding, horse-riding,zorbing,trekking.

Day 9: Dalhousie- Amritsar (200km 04:30hr journey Approx.)

Early morning after Breakfast check out hotel and head towards Amritsar, check- in hotel after arrive relax for a while and later we proceed for a sightseeing tour of Amritsar. Visit Harminder Sahib (Golden temple) is the holiest shrine of Sikh religion. It was built by the fifth Sikh guru, Guru Arjan in the 16th century. The temple is surrounded by large sacred tank known as Sarovar. Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial to the countless numbers of Indians which were massacred by general Dyer in 13th April 1919. Mata Lal Devi temple and Maharaja Ranjith Singh Museum, it was the summer palace of Maharaja Ranjith Singh.

 

Evening we visit Wagah Border “ India- Pak Border” which is famous for its ‘Retreat’ ceremony at the time of sunset. Later we return to the hotel.

Day 10: Amritsar- Delhi Airport drop (470km 8hr journey Approx.)

Today a bid farewell to your Experience Himachal Pradesh with Khajjiar and Amritsar tour, after having the breakfast, you will be transferred to the Delhi Airport/ Railway Station for onward journey. Return to your home with the lifetime memories.
