Travel Itinerary

Day 01- Arrival at Bhubaneshwar- transfer to Puri

Upon arrival at Bhubaneshwar Airport/Railway station, transfer to Puri. Enroot visit to Dhaulagiri Peace Pagoda (one of the famous Buddhist destinations in India, where Mauryan emperor Ashoka renounced the path of violence and embraced Buddhism).

Arrive at hotel Check in hotel

Evening visit to 12^th century world famous Jagannath temple (one of the four major Dham’s of India) and evening visit to Golden beach during sunset.

Day 02- Excursion to Chilika Lake

After breakfast, proceed to Chilika Lake, it is Asia’s largest brackish water lake spread across 1,100 SQ. Km famous for migratory birds during winter and Irrawaddy dolphins.

Watching Sunrise and Sunset are most memorable activities here, we experience a boat ride on the Chilika Lake and travel till lake and ocean merging point.

Day 03- Puri-Konark-Bhubaneshwar

Breakfast at the hotel and check out drive to Bhubaneshwar, enroot visit to Chandrabhaga Beach- cultural and traditional identity of Orissa, which is famous for its long stretch of golden sand bordered with casuarinas, Sun temple Konark/ Black Pagoda – a 13^th century temple was built during king Narasimha, it is counted among 7 wonders of India. Then continue drive to Bhubaneshwar arrive and check in.

Evening visit to Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves, Lingaraj temple, Mukteshwar temple, Kedar Gouri temple.

Day 04- Bhubaneshwar local sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel, visit to Nandan Kannan Zoo – it is famous for variety wildlife sanctuary and there are tiger and lion safari (Monday Closed). Tribal Museum (Monday closed), Ram temple.

Rest of the day is free for shopping

Day 05- Departure

Breakfast at the hotel and check out, later transfer to Airport/railway station as per the schedule
